In November 2017, the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) took place in Indianapolis, IN.  NCYC is a bi-annual conference providing a unique opportunity for youth around the country to join with 25,000 of their peers to learn more about living a life of discipleship, to celebrate the joy of our faith, and learning more about being active participants in their local faith community.  The Pacione Foundation was excited to sponsor youth from the Diocese of Helena (MT)!  Here is what they have to say about the experience:

 

Thank you so much for the support you gave our beloved Diocese of Helena!  You made NCYC possible for us and I am so grateful.  NCYC 2017 was one of the most amazing Christ-filled experience I have ever had.  I learned so much about my faith, met so many people for all over the country, and heard so many beautiful testimonies.  I even had the privilege of singing with Jesse Manibusan during our regional Mass.  – Isabella H.

Over 25,000 youth attended this conference.  This experience strengthened my  faith and let me see the fellowship we should have with other Catholic youth.  I hope to go again in 2 years to deepen my faith and fellowship with others.  – Reece

NCYC was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had.  When you walk into the stadium you feel an energy of love and passion for the Lord.  That week I was on fire for the Lord.  The part that stuck out the most to me was when all 25,000 participants stood up and all together said the Our Father.  NCYC set a flame in my heart.  Thank you so much for the opportunity.  – Maddi T.

At NCYC I learned more than I thought possible.  I learned about myself through reconciliation and about God through Mass, adoration, and prayer.  I found role models of how to live my life following Jesus through the testimonies of the speakers.  I learned how big the world is by being in the same room with 25,000 people – and how universal our Church is!  So yeah! It was an amazing experience and I am so glad I was able to go! – Madison H.
